Newburgh September News Update
Dear Families,
What a fantastic start to another school year! Below is a mid-month update for Newburgh PS. The first full week back to school brought with it the beginnings of so many things: new friendships, new teachers, laughter, and smiles. Classrooms were full of activities to build classroom community and establish routines and norms. Students are digging into math and literacy learning and flexing their thinking muscles in many ways through critical thinking, problem-solving, and finding ways to collaborate with peers. We are enjoying our outside time too, playing with new and old friends once again. Running club and Senior soccer are in full swing thanks to Mme. Moore, Mr. Stone, and Ms. Birk. It's great to be back at school!
Yours in Education,
Jennifer Osborne, Principal and Tanyelle VanderSchoor, Vice-Principal
